Dan Sinxai Eco Adventure Trek Full-Day

Escape into the heart of the Bolaven Plateau on this full-day eco-adventure combining trekking, waterfalls, and local coffee culture. Follow a scenic 4-hour trek through coffee farms, forests, and hidden waterfalls to the legendary Dan Sinxai area. Cool off at beautiful cascades including Tad Champee and Tad Yuang, then enjoy tea and coffee tasting at a local plantation. Complete the day with breathtaking views of Tad Fane, the tallest waterfall in Laos.

Departure: 08.00 hrs

This full-day adventure combines scenic trekking, waterfalls, and the natural beauty of the Bolaven Plateau. Depart from Pakse and drive into the cool highlands of the plateau, renowned for its lush forests, coffee plantations, and spectacular landscapes.

Your journey begins at Ban Lak 38 (Ban Pak Kood), where you will meet a local guide before setting off on an approximately 7-kilometer trek through coffee farms, jungle trails, and across a wooden bridge leading to the hidden area of Dan Sinxai. The trek takes around 4 hours and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the region’s natural beauty. Along the way, discover peaceful forest scenery, distinctive pine trees, giant rock formations, sacred Buddha statues, and hidden waterfalls tucked away in the wilderness.

Continue to Nam Tok Houy Yen and Tad Ling Tonh Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the refreshing atmosphere and tranquil surroundings. The trek then continues to Tad Champee Waterfall, a beautiful forest cascade that offers an ideal spot for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying a picnic in the heart of nature.

After lunch, continue by road to Tad Yuang Waterfall, a picturesque 40-meter cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy views from several vantage points and take time to appreciate the peaceful riverside setting.

The tour then visits Mea Boua Tea Farm, where you can learn about local tea and coffee production while enjoying a tasting of freshly prepared beverages. The final stop is the magnificent Tad Fane Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in Laos at 120 meters, where twin streams plunge dramatically into a deep jungle gorge.

After your visit, return to Pakse in the late afternoon, bringing an end to a memorable day of trekking, waterfalls, and Bolaven Plateau scenery.
