A focused workshop ideal for those with limited time, offering hands-on weaving and cultural insights:

• Learn about cotton origins, hand-spinning, and natural dyeing methods

• Watch a live demonstration on a traditional wooden loom

• Weave your own 30 x 30 cm cotton cloth as a unique keepsake

• Optional: Enjoy a homemade Lao lunch prepared by your hosts

• Start times: 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM

​Option 2: Full-Day Introduction to Traditional Lao Cotton Dyeing & Weaving

An immersive full-day experience combining natural dye making and weaving for a deeper cultural journey:

• Create natural dyes using local leaves, flowers, and bark

• Participate in a live weaving demonstration

• Weave your own larger 50 x 50 cm cotton cloth

• Enjoy a traditional Lao lunch at your hosts’ home or riverside restaurant overlooking the Mekong
