We booked though Watphou Travels direct after finding them on Google Maps. We travelled from Paris To Ubon R.Thailand) and Watphou Travels organised a pick up from our Hotel , through the border all the way to our hotel in Paske. Then we had 3 days in our private van with the same driver travelling and seeing all the local sites and down to the 4000 islands and transport on the final day to the airport. All costs where included except of course drinks, lunch and evening meals, the planned itinerary was respected and our driver went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and even stopped for us to visit extra little markets etc.
In general I find if you are kind and respectful to your driver and are interested in the country you are visiting you get back a lot more than you payed for.
Thank you also Soudavone for all your help in the organisation of our visit, your patience in responding to questions and most of all thank you for such a wonderful time in South Laos!!
Finally many thanks to our driver/ guide Mr Kim who was very attentive to all our needs and professional to the end.

Great travel agency. Lots of information available. Koukkik is lovely and welcoming. I booked a bus to Ubon, which went smoothly enough.
I believe there are two bus options. Green paradise, which is the tourist service and kirigae, which is the standard bus service. I probably should have confirmed which one I was booking as the kirigae took slightly longer.
The booking includes a transfer from the hotel to the bus station. I was collected at 8:30. We left pakse bus station around 9:45 and arrived into Ubon around 14:20. The border crossing was smooth, the luggage remained on the bus and we walked through each side and got back on the bus.

I booked the trip to Vat Phou once I arrived to Pakse. Roberto explained me why this place is so magical: history, religion, philosophy, psichology, astronomy,… I was hesitating at first if I should go yo Vat Phou or not but after all the explanation, I am extremely happy that I did! High-quality agency to recommend. Competitive rates and attractive packages. The manager is friendly and knowledgeable about his job, speaks perfect English, and accepts credit cards. We truly enjoyed one of his Wat Phou tour packages in Champasak, which included a sublime return trip on the Mekong in a private canoe for two. Absolutely fantastic!
